Game Intro:

Hey Jessie,

Hope this letter finds ya in one piece. I’m takin’ the camper out for the summer—headin’ deep into the hills, away from all the noise and goddamn hippies. Gonna enjoy some fresh air and freedom, if ya catch my drift.

Listen, while I’m gone, could ya swing by my place every now and then? Just to keep an eye on it—make sure nobody’s snoopin’ around, check the locks, maybe water the plants if they ain’t dead yet.

Oh, and buddy… I need ya to check on the bunker too. Yeah, that bunker—the underground one I built back in '63, after all that talk about virus leaks and bio-weapons startin’ to spread. You remember, the one set up for when the whole damn world turns into flesh-eatin’ freaks. She ain’t fully stocked yet, but the damn security alarm’s been actin’ up again. Probably just a glitch, but I’d feel better if you took a look.
